Universal Healthcare Act to be piloted in Ismailia in Jan 2020
The government plans to roll out the Universal Healthcare Act in Ismailia in Jan 2020, officials at the Universal Health Insurance Authority told a local newspaper. Seven hospitals and 16 medical clinics are currently being developed and equipped to be included in the new system. Universal Health Insurance was first launched on a pilot basis in Port Said in Jul 2019.
