Saudi-led air strikes hit Yemeni presidential palace
Houthi-run media reported that the Saudi Arabian-led coalition bombed Yemen’s presidential palace in the centre of Sanaa early Monday, killing at least six people. The coalition’s spokesman, Colonel Turki al-Malki, told reporters in Riyadh that the first and second ranks of the Houthi leadership were targeted, without confirming any casualties. Two air strikes damaged the palace as well as nearby houses and businesses in the city’s central Tahrir district, SABA news agency reported. Sky News Arabia said that two Houthi leaders, including Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, the head of the group’s supreme revolutionary committee, were inside the palace at the time. No details were further revealed.
