Punj Lloyd Ltd, an Indian engineering and construction major, has received oil and gas engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders worth USD304mn from Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co (Orpic) and Oman Gas Co (OGC). The scope of work for the contracts includes the construction of a 14” diameter, 300km natural gas liquid (NGL) pipeline and a 32” diameter, 301km gas pipeline and construction of block valve and pigging stations, Punj Lloyd said in a filing with India's National Stock Exchange (NSE). Both pipelines need to be completed within 38 and 35 months, respectively. (Muscat daily)
