Mezzan earnings grow c7% Y-o-Y in 4Q2015, FY2015 earnings up c32%
Mezzan Holding Company’s (MEZZ.KW) 4Q2015 earnings increased c7% Y-o-Y to KWD3.3 million, while FY2015 net income reached KWD19.4 million, growing c32% Y-o-Y (core earnings grew c17%). Bottom-line growth was driven mainly by a revenue increase of c8% Y-o-Y to KWD196.1 million from growth in both the food and non-food segments. The company’s BoD proposed a cash dividend of 27.5 fils/share and 5% stock dividend for FY2015. On another note, the company’s Chairman, Khalid Al-Wazzan, will resign from his post for health reasons, and Moatasem Jassim Mohammed Al-Wazzan will take up the post until the board elects a new Chairman.
