Occupancy rates hit 50% at Nile Ritz-Carlton in January
Occupancy rates at the Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo have averaged 50% in January, according to Tawfeeq Moukhtar, Head of Sales. Occupancy was boosted by the Chinese president’s visit to Cairo during the month. Moukhtar expects this visit to help Chinese tourism numbers during the year. Some 116,000 Chinese tourists visited Egypt in 2015, with expectations for this number to reach 200,000 in 2016. (Al Borsa)
