The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) is planning to launch the sale of 8,000 land plots for individuals, across a number of new cities, including: New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, Sixth of October City, and Al-Shorouk city, next month, pending the final approvals from Moustafa Madbouli, Housing Minister. Sale proceeds are expected to reach a minimum of EGP5 billion, and up to EGP6 billion, if all plots are sold successfully. Some 2,000 land plots will be offered in New Cairo, with prices exceeding EGP5,000/sqm, up from EGP4,050/sqm in the latest auction. Land plots in Sheikh Zayed will be offered at EGP5,000/sqm. Unsold land plots at Bait Al-Wattan phase III will be added to this launch. (Al Borsa)
