NBE mulls EGP2 billion loan to support the ports sector

National Bank of Egypt (NBE) is studying arranging an EGP2 billion (USD225.2 million) syndicated loan for the country's port sector, according to the bank’s Vice Chairman Yehia Aboul Fotouh. He added that NBE also seeks, in cooperation with other banks, securing a loan ranging between EGP4 and EGP5 billion in favour of state-run Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC).
