EL Sisi to sign 11 MoUs for energy projects during Japan and South Korea visit, including Elsewedy- Marubeni consortium for 2 GW coal-fired plant
Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Minster of International Cooperation are expected to sign 11 MoUs for energy projects during their visit in Japan and South Korea, according to a government source speaking to Al Borsa. The Minister of International Cooperation will be in charge of signing the MoU’s in behalf of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, the source added. The MoU’s will include a 2 GW coal-fired power plant with Marubeni –Elsewedy (SWDY.CA) consortium in Matrouh. (Al Borsa)
