CIB says it has only received expression of interest from NBE Capital regarding CI Capital
CIB has issued a statement saying that it has only received a written expression of interest from NBE Capital Holding for its investment banking subsidiary, CI Capital. This does not include a non-binding offer nor an indicative price. CIB added in the release that as it has received a non-binding offer from a potential buyer disclosed on 17 December 2015, it has highlighted to the interested party that it has requested to sign a non-disclosure agreement and to present a non-binding offer in order for the bank to discuss the matter internationally prior to proceeding with the due diligence process.
