Central Bank Governor Tarek Amer said that the bank on Sunday received a USD900 million loan from China, according to Al Mal. In January, the CBE said it will receive a USD1 billion loan from China to shore up the bank's foreign reserves. Amer gave no comments as to when the remaining USD100 million will be transferred.
