The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued EGP1.4bn in T-bonds on Monday, falling below the EGP1.75bn required for the auction. Yields on the EGP1bn five-year bond rose by 28bps to 16.316%, and yields on the EGP0.4bn 10-year tenor increased by 16bps to 16.182%.
