Yields on T-bills continue declining trend in Wednesday’s auction
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, issued on Wednesday EGP17.75bn in T-bills in two instalments. The instalments were as follows: EGP8.75bn at a 182-day term and EGP9bn with a 357-day term. The shorter tenor saw average yields drop by 39bps to 18.439%, while the longer tenor also saw average yields fall by 52bps to 18.404%.
