UAE's RAKBANK to cut up to 250 jobs as part of review
National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) will cut up to 250 jobs as part of a review of the bank’s organisational structure. The bank said that it revisited the organisation structure of select departments and made changes where necessary to improve synergy and efficiency across the bank. The move follows similar headcount reductions at other banks in the UAE, as they look to cope with a growing macro challenge to revenue growth in 2016. (Reuters, Shabbir Malik)
