Saudi Arabia suspends beef and poultry imports from four Brazilian companies
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has suspended the importation of beef and poultry products from four Brazilian companies, following the spoiled meat issue. The authority has suspended beef imports from Alimentos, Frango DM Industria E Comercio de Alimentos, Seara Alimentos and BRF. Executive Chairman of the SFDA met yesterday with Brazilian Ambassador Flavio Marig and Brazilian Embassy Advisor to discuss the matter.
