Port Services Corporation said the company-led consortium had withdrawn from participating in a tender for managing a dry port in South Al Batinah Logistics Area since the project was not found to be commercially and financially viable. This was based on an intensive study, and a letter of regret was sent to Oman Logistics Company on 03 April, the company said in a disclosure statement posted on MSM website. Earlier, Port Services Corporation-led consortium was shortlisted to participate in the tender. (Times of Oman)
