Omantel [OTL.OM] priced its OMR50 million Sukuk at 5.3% per annum. The issuance is denominated in both USD and OMR. The company received commitments worth USD82.2 million (OMR31.6 million) in the Dollar tranche and OMR18.4 million in the Riyal tranche. The transaction should be settled on 3 February. It is worth noting that the proceeds of the issuance will be used for building a new headquarters and other corporate purposes. (Reuters)
