Shareholders of national carrier Oman Air are due to meet tomorrow to consider an increase in the issued and paid capital of the company from around OMR684.157 million to OMR738.157 million, an increase of OMR54 million. The EGM is taking place against a flurry of initiatives by the national carrier to position itself for a further period of strong growth domestically, regionally and internationally, both on the passenger and air cargo fronts.
