The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) announced that it had completed the sale of five land plots covering a combined 81 feddans to four real estate developers, of which: i) 23-feddan land plot was sold to Egygab for EGP160.2 million, implying EGP1,650/sqm, which the company has offered to pay in full. The other plots were in the Southern governorates, with implied cost of cEGP450/sqm. This comes as part of the 64-land plot launch by NUCA through the General Authority for Investment (GAFI). The combined value of the transactions is estimated at EGP1 billion, of which EGP400 million will be collected in down-payments. (Al Borsa)
