The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) announced that it had completed the sale of 17 land plots covering 176 feddans, across 10 new cities, as part of the 64 land plot it offered through the General Authority for Investment (GAFI). The combined value of the transactions is estimated at EGP1 billion, of which EGP400 million will be collected in down-payments. NUCA had received 40 bids for the launch. These plots total 1,500 feddans and are spread over 20 new cities, ranging from 3.5 feddans and 106 feddans each. Land prices in New Cairo have ranged between EGP4,310/sqm and EGP4,510/sqm and between EGP1,905/sqm and EGP2,650/sqm in Sixth of October City. (Al Borsa)
