Ooredoo has completed the first wave of new 4G/LTE 800 coverage in Muscat and along the Al Batinah coast. With more than 100 new 4G base-stations have significantly boosted Ooredoo’s high-speed mobile data network. It also provides an enhancement to Ooredoo’s extensive network modernisation programme, which has been underway for the last three years. And now, the second wave of new 4G base-stations, improving the indoor and outdoor high-speed mobile data coverage further, has already been started in all wilayats across Oman. (Times of Oman)
