Ministry of Trade planning to raise exports to USD34bn by 2020
Egypt is planning to raise exports to USD34bn by 2020, Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Wednesday. "The ministry has almost completed its strategy to double its exports and increase it from USD19bn to USD34bn by 2020 through implementing specific export plans and policies and targeting new export markets," the statement said. The targeted sectors are: building materials, chemical products, fertilisers, food industries, engineering and electronic products, agricultural products and ready-made clothes.
