Oman’s consumer price index (CPI)-based inflation registered a 0.33 per cent upswing in December 2015, from the previous month. Average inflation for 2015 rose 0.06 per cent, compared to 2014. On a year-on-year basis, the Sultanate’s inflation marked a decline of 0.14 per cent in December 2015, according to the latest data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
