Housing Ministry set to tender EGP1 billion Long-Live Egypt-funded units to contractors
The Ministry of Housing is finalising the necessary procedures to tender the construction of 100,000 units to contractors, with investment costs estimated at cEGP1 billion, to be financed through the Long-Live-Egypt Fund. 75,000 units will be built in new cities, whilst the remaining 25,000 will be spread over other cities, depending on the availability of the land. The biggest share will be in Sixth of October city, followed by Al-Obour city, Fifteenth of May, Tenth of Ramadan and Al-Shorouk cities, in addition to a number of other cities in Upper Egypt.
