Housing Ministry doubles FY2016/17 budget for social housing to EGP61 billion
The budget allocated to Social Housing in FY2016/17 has been doubled to EGP61 billion, up from EGP33.5 billion, after adding 400,000 low income housing units to the plan. The Ministry of Housing has commenced the tendering process of the first 200,000 batch, which is expected to cost cEGP26 billion. (Al Borsa)
