GB Auto (AUTO.CA) has increased the planned production capacity for its two- & three-wheeler assembly facility project to 360,000 units/annum (240,000 motorcycles and 120,000 three-wheelers) from the previously announced capacity of 240,000 units per annum (120,000 motorcycles and 120,000  three-wheelers). Construction is set to begin in 2Q2016 with commercial production slated for 1Q2018. Regarding the tyre manufacturing facility (planned annual capacity of 6 million passenger car & light truck tyres and 1 million truck & bus tyres), negotiations with a global OEM are still ongoing and are expected to be concluded in 2Q2016 for construction to start before year-end.
