EMG plans to supply Egyptian LNG plants with gas from Israel
The East Mediterranean Gas Company (EMG) plans to supply 150mcfpd of gas from Israeli companies Nobel Energy and Delek to Egypt’s LNG plants by next June. A source from the Ministry of Petroleum told Al Borsa that total gas supply from Israel will reach 700mcfpd in two years. The CEO of EMG added that if gas shipments from Israel exceed 700mcfpd, the gas pipeline with Jordan will come into use.
