The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) will issue a tender for the installation of cables linking the Egyptian and Saudi power grids next month, according to Ministry of Electricity sources as quoted by Al Borsa. A Saudi delegation, set to arrive in days, will review the technical specifications of the tender, which is composed of three parts. EETC will handle the cables portion, while the Saudi delegation will be responsible for the transformer stations. Seven companies have offered to execute the offer before the tender was issued, including three Indian companies and a Saudi Company. (Al Borsa, Enterprise)
