Electricity Transmission Co. to launch projects worth EGP4 billion
The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company is planning to launch projects worth EGP4 billion of investments during 2H2016, which is within the Electricity Ministry’s plan to invest EGP16 billion in transmission projects. The purpose of these projects is to increase the national network’s capacity to 50,000 MW, in addition to developing a new transmission network besides the existing one, in order to absorb the added capacity from Siemens projects and others.
