Dubai’s RTA is said to be seeking more than USD2 billon for Route 2020
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is reportedly seeking more than USD2 billion to fund the 15km expansion to the Dubai’s metro, named Route 2020. Upon its completion, it will connect the southern Nakheel Harbour and Towers Stations on the Red Line with the Expo 2020 site. Construction works are set to begin in April. Funding will likely include bank loans and export credit, according to anonymous sources. (Gulf Business)
