DAEP accepts bids for AED1.4 billion contract for upgrade at Dubai International Airport
Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) has set 24 April as the deadline to accept bids for an estimated AED1.4 billion (USD381 million) contract to upgrade Concourse C at Dubai International Airport. The prospective bidding consortia include: i) Alec (local); ii) Al-Shafar General Contracting (local)/San Jose (Spain); iii) Arabtec Construction (local)/TAV (Turkey); and iv) Joannou & Paraskevaides (J&P) (Cyprus). The contract involves the overhaul of the systems serving the concourse. (MEED)
