The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) posted on its website the schedule for the Monetary Policy Committee’s meeting in 2016 with the first meeting set for Thursday 28 January. The MPC meets every six weeks to decide on policy rates and general monetary policy. Further meetings in 1H2016 will take place on 17 March, 28 April and 16 June. (CBE)
