Parliament to start discussing FY17/18 budget next week
The parliament is expected to start debate on the proposed FY17/18 budget on 10 April. The debate will be held in joint sessions attended by government officials and heads of parliament committees. The budget was approved by the cabinet last week, targeting the first primary surplus (0.3% of GDP, EGP11bn) in a decade.
